SUMMARY:Educator Summer Institute
DESCRIPTION:The Educator Summer Institute is a three day workshop offering educators an opportunity to build upon their historical knowledge of the systemic disparities that shape education today. \n\nAttendees will walk away with a plan to address a systemic racial equity issue within their own school\, district\, or organization. Participating K-12 teachers will earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs). It is strongly recommended that teams of at least three from each school/organization attend\, but this is not a requirement.

SUMMARY:Let's Talk Racism Conference
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the 9th Annual Let’s Talk Racism Conference! Our theme this year is Making Space for Today’s Voices: The Student Movement. This one-day event will occur Saturday\, March 22nd from 9:00am – 4:00pm \, in Greensboro at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. \nThe purpose of this event is to give K-12 educators and pre-service teachers an opportunity to engage in sessions centered on the impact of systemic racism and ways of dismantling it in our schools.
