About the Organization

Mission

The College Advising Corps (CAC) at Duke University works to increase the number of low-income, First Generation College and underrepresented high school students in rural North Carolina who enter and complete higher education.

Services

The Duke University College Advsing Corps places recent college graduates in under-resourced high schools in North Carolina. They serve as near-peer advisers. Our advisers help students achieve their postsecondary goals—whether that includes community college, a four-year institution, trade school, or military service. Services include:
