His service to our state and nation has spanned nearly a century, and his legacy continues to shape the work of the Dudley Flood Center for Educational Equity and Opportunity.
The Lifetime Achievement Award Benefit pays tribute to Dr. Flood’s extraordinary impact—from desegregating schools in the aftermath of Brown v. Board of Education to advancing civil discourse and equity-centered leadership across the country. Recently, the Dudley Flood Center for Educational Equity & Opportunity released a new resource outlining proactive steps we as a state can take to address current challenges to ensuring equity, access, and opportunity for students.
