Mission
The Mission of the Marian Cheek Jackson Center is to honor, renew, and build community in the historical Northside and Pine Knolls neighborhoods of Chapel Hill, NC, and to do justice by the legacies of vision, value, action and example of neighbors whose oral histories we hold in our Trust.Services

* Oral History archive for local historically African-American neighborhoods

* Land Bank program
* Housing Retention programs to support housing repairs, property tax assistance, wills clinics, and other legal services
