Who is My Neighbor? Racial Justice Leaders

May 19 @ 5:30 pm 8:00 pm

Please join Pullen Memorial Baptist Church and The Encouraging Place at 5:30 PM on May 19 for another installment in the series Who is My Neighbor? — this one featuring racial justice leaders in Wake County. This event is designed to deepen our community’s understanding of racial justice work through the perspectives and experiences of leaders doing this work locally. We hope this discussion will spark ideas and movement around how attendees might begin or continue their engagement in racial justice work. Panelists: Wake County community organizers Bettie Murchison (Raleigh Organizing Against Racism, Wake County Remembrance Coalition), the Rev. Lisa Yebuah (Southeast Raleigh Table), and the Rev. Rob Stephens (Racial Equity Institute, the Poor People’s Campaign) Moderators: Maggie Zeillmann and Cas Shearin of Pullen Church Drinks and food provided. Free and open to all. Please register via the link in the comments and share widely with your networks — this is an incredible panel!
