About the Organization

Mission

The Asheville City Schools Foundation’s mission is to collaborate with our community to do whatever it takes for all Asheville City Schools students to thrive.

Services

ACSF in an independent nonprofit that delivers transformational opportunities for the students and educators in Asheville City Schools. All of our programs are grounded in a pursuit of equity, desire to magnify the genius, encourage the curiosity, celebrate the joy, and support the aspirations of students and teachers. Our work impacts over 4,100 students and over 700 educators each year through direct service programming such as the Racial Equity Ambassador and Black Educator Excellence programs, grant-making, advocacy, and educational community engagement events.
