About the Organization

Mission

To provide students of all backgrounds with access to a quality education rooted in sociocultural theory and ministry; assisting in the growth and development of our students academically, socially, and spiritually; producing the next generation of leaders!

Services

At Christine W. Avery Learning Center, our 2- & 3-year-olds are independent explorers whose minds are developing rapidly. CWA provides a safe environment that supports their development. Our 4-year-old class learn through a variety of stimulating, hands-on experiences, all designed to support their development and growth. We serve Nc PreK students whose curriculum is comprised of child-centered activities in math, science, early literacy, pre-writing, and art. Our afterschool and summer programs for elementary and middle school students provide academic development, STEAM activities, service learning, leadership development, cultural enrichment and identity development.
