About the Organization

Mission

The mission of the Flood Group is to empower youth, engage parents and collaborate with community partners to access information and build a foundation of support to close the achievement and opportunity gaps for Wake County Youth.

Services

We offer parent workshops, youth informational sessions, resources for pre-k, provide information on the academic achievement gap, garnering community support for education, and work with the faith community.

Our work is moving towards more involvement in promoting equity in the classroom and culturally relevant pedagogy.
